Commitment:
- Client and Trainer Meets for 1 Hour 1 Time a Week Until the Dog/Client Team Passes Skill Requirement Tests
- 1+ Hours of Daily Homework
- Daily Public Socialization until 100 documented hours have been met
Commands and Skills Learned:
After a dog/client team has demonstrated the skills needed to be accepted into our service dog program we work with the team to mold intuitive skills and teach commands that are specific to the medically prescribed needs of the client. We also work with the client's housing authority to ensure that the service dog transitions into the client's home smoothly.

WHAT PREREQUISITES ARE REQUIRED FOR MY DOG TO BE CONSIDERED FOR DOWN2EARTH'S SERVICE DOG PROGRAM?
- D2E Puppy Program (if younger than 1 year)
- D2E Basic or Advanced Obedience Program (if older than 1 year)
WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED BEFORE DOWN2EARTH WILL CERTIFY A SERVICE DOG?
- A letter written and signed by a licensed therapist, psychiatrist and/or doctor (think of this like a prescription)
- AKC Canine Good Citizen (C.G.C.) Certificate
- Up to Date Medical Records
