​TRaining Program Description​

After a dog/client team has demonstrated the skills needed to be accepted into our psychiatric support service dog program we work with the team to mold intuitive skills and teach commands that are specific to the medically prescribed needs of the client. We also work with the clients place of employment and housing authority to ensure that the psychiatric support dog transitions into the clients daily life, workplace and home in a smooth and uninterrupted way.

- D2E Puppy Program (if younger than 1 year)

- A letter written and signed by a licensed therapist, psychiatrist and/or doctor (think of this like a prescription)
- AKC Canine Good Citizen (C.G.C.) Certificate
